Game of the Day: Harvest Moon 64
For me, this was the game that started my love for the Harvest Moon series. The N64 version took Harvest Moon into colorful 3D and had so many elements that may sound mundane but are surprisingly addictive.
The Best Martial Arts Game of All Time
Shenmue came out on the Dreamcast, a system that was doomed from its release preceeding the PS2, a console that dominated the gaming industry for a solid decade. Despite being on an ill-fated system, Shenmue made its name in the gaming world by offering gamers a completely unique and addictive roleplaying adventure experience.

Satisfy your inner vampire with this great first person adventure RPG.
Old School Classic: Secret of Mana
I will always be a fan of RPGs on the Super Nintendo because they were my first introduction to video games and I grew up playing them. Old School Classic: Wizardry- Tale of the Forsaken Land

We are going to take a moment to appreciate a game that may have flown under the radar when it was first released and not as appreciated as it should have been. The aforementioned game is Wizardry: Tale of a Forsaken Land for the Playstation 2.
Old School Classic: Summoner
Old School Classic: Summoner

We are going to take a moment to appreciate some games that may have passed under the radar or been overshadowed by more popular franchises, the game for today’s discussion is Summoner.
Summoner has the quintessential formula for the role-playing game: unassuming hero (usually a farmer or peasant) gets thrown (against his will) into a series of events that delve him deeper into his/her role as hero and eventually the hero embraces his destiny and defeats the bad guy. While that sounds formulaic, it isn’t and Summoner pulls it off well.
Old School Classic: Siege of Avalon
Old School Classic: Siege of Avalon

Siege of Avalon was released for the PC in 1998, which was a bad year to come out because if anyone can remember, that was when Baldur’s Gate was taking the RPG genre by storm and D&D fans were going crazy. It didn’t help that Siege of Avalon has many similarities with Baldur’s Gate, with a medieval theme, 2D isometric view, and the inclusion of NPC party members; so people probably thought it was just another clone. Unfortunately for the people who passed this game up, Siege of Avalon is a completely unique role-playing experience that any fan of the genre can enjoy.
